START-UP INSTRUCTIONS
Copy “BroadCast” into your system extensions folder. This item is located inside the folder named “Put In Your Externsions”. Broadcast is used as our back-up communications just in case there is a problem with our primary communication software (FirstClass).
Copy the folder named "O.M.N.I. FirstClass® Client" onto your hard drive. We have included a FC Off-Line Help file to assist you in learning the features of FC.
RESTART YOUR COMPUTER.
CONNECTING TO THE OMNI GAMES SERVICE
Use your ARA v.20 software to connect to OMNI Games by dialing:
408-295-1153
Once connected to OMNI Games, Double-Click on the OMNI BBS Guest icon located inside the "O.M.N.I. FirstClass® Client" folder.
IMPORTANT: If you are connecting as a guest, You may do so by typing in the user ID box : GUEST1 or GUEST2
Your Password as a guest is "12345"
Press the "LOGIN" button to connect to the OMNI FC server.
In order to use OMNI Games service, you MUST have the following:
1. A Macintosh Computer (Must meet game requirements)
2. Apple Remote Access (ARA) v.2.0
3. A modem (Minimum 9600 Baud, 14,400 Baud recommended)
4. A multi-player game that will allow networking over ARA 2.0
(Ex: F/A-18, Chuck Yeager Air Combat, PowerPoker, etc)
You may want to have the following items to improve your gaming experience:
4. Voice/Data Modem-(This allows you to communicate verbally
with other players who have the same type of modem while
playing)
As a member of OMNI Games, you are entitled to receive discounts on software and hardware. Please call us for price information on any software or hardware you need.
THINGS NOT TO DO!!!
Do not attempt to play games that are not approved for use over OMNI Games. Some games may appear to be usable, but have failed to actually work. In most cases these games tend to lock up our modems and crash the users computer. For example,, the following games CAN NOT BE PLAYED OVER OUR NETWORK AT THIS TIME:
1. Super Maze Wars
2. Spectre
3. Spectre VR

OMNI Games publishes a monthly newsletter for its members. If you have noteworthy information that you would like to share with other members, create an eMail message and send it to ICEMAN. He will read and consider your suggested addition to our newsletter. ALWAYS REMEMBER TO INCLUDE YOUR NAME, HANDLE AND A GOOD TIME TO CONTACT YOU. This will ensure prompt response to your suggestions.

Because we are a new service, we will be providing only a partial list of available software titles. As our membership grows, so will the list!! Your support allows us to continue to bring you these special savings. The 10 Golden Rules Of Conduct
1. Be courteous to other users and refrain from using
profanity.
2. All games will be on default settings unless otherwise
specified.
3. Any device for modification of a program is prohibited
(Axis Game Cheater) or any modification that alters
game play is likewise prohibited.
4. After your scheduled game time is up you should drop off
the reserved game. If you go back and check for the next
scheduled game and there is an opening, feel free to fill
that vacancy. You may also use We have provide a copy of
"FirstClass" for chat on our system, please use this to set
up game play.
5. Hosts are considered priveledged players. They are
allowed to set the game rules for the games they are
hosting. If for example, the Game Host for an F/A-18
mission advises each player that "Default Settings" must
be used, you should check your game settings and insure
that you are playing according to these rules.
6. Be certain not to pick up your telephone handset while
utilizing a modem connected to this service, it may lock up
that individual port and will require manual reset which
may take several hours to reset. Turn "Call waiting" off by
having "*70," at the beginning your dial string, this will
prevent interuption and system lock up.
7. Transfer of Copyrighted material is not permitted over
this system, any such action is a violation of copyright
laws. If you are uncertain about the copyright status of a
program or other material, please contact the System
Adminstrator.
8. When any member is unable to log-on to the server for
any reason (All Lines Busy, No answer, etc.) they should
advise the OMNI Games Administrator immediately via
telephone-remember that you may call us 24-hours a day
@ (408)295-4263. If no one is available to answer the call,
please leave a message and a representative will
automatically be paged for immediate response. This is
necessary to ensure the reliability of the server and will
allow us make system changes to better accommodate
our members.
9. Operating an aircraft while under the influence of any
intoxicant or controlled substance is a violation of FAA
regulations (Most Likely) and is strongly discouraged.
Players flying aircrafts in an unstable fashion may be
detained for questioning and requested to complete an air
sobriety test. (This is a joke guys! We needed to have 10
rules right?)
10. Violation of these rules may result in termination of
membership. If you observe other members violating
rules, you may advise the System Administrator by
typing an eMail message indicating what, where,when,
how, and who violated the rules of conduct. Send the
information directly to the system administrator
